Regarding back garden burial. A wife couldn’t bear to be separated from her husband so he is buried in the garden. Not only that but she had him embalmed and kept the bi-products of embalming in her chest freezer in the garage.
When she died he was exhumed and they were both buried in the local churchyard and the defrosted parts were also buried.
