Festival OrganiserLet's talk about death
Feeling that the conversation about death and dying often comes too late for most people, that is when someone has just died, Liz set up the first Kicking the Bucket in Oxford in 2012. It is called a Festival of Living and Dying because Liz passionately believes that the two cannot be separated and part of our problems with death are to do with trying to do just that. People report again and again how much lighter, more relaxed they feel when they have approached the subject in the company of others. Far from being gloomy death can be a very life enhancing subject! The festival is now bi-annual and will ‘hopefully’ be happening in the autumn of 2021.
